About

Catalytic Productions is an up-and-coming comic studio made up of nine crazy and creative people from the furthest reaches of the internet. Our aim is to produce quality comics in a variety of genres and artistic styles for everyone to enjoy.

Formerly Wired² Productions, CP was founded by Nicole Weisz on January 6th 2007. In April of the same year it changed hands, and was later renamed Catalytic Productions. Now, more than four years later, we’ve finally started publishing some of our work online.

Catalytic Productions is mainly based on a site called Gaia Online, and we owe a big round of thanks to Gaia’s unofficial magazine Gaia-zine for agreeing to print our first comic, Domino Disaster. Bio:Well, let’s see. I’m a writer for the studio; writing is one of my favourite things, and I plan to make a career of it when I’m older. My main genre is fantasy, but I like to try out lots of different genres and writing forms. Writing scripts is lots of fun, especially for a humour project =D I stumbled upon Catalytic whilst browsing the Comic Creators subforum on Gaia because I was thinking of making my own webcomic at the time. I’m not sure exactly why I applied, considering how little I knew about comics back then, but it turned out to be one of my best random decisions. xD
